actually you can race it in the baja 1000, so there is no reason for ford not to advertise it as baja ready. not only CAN you race it, but they actually participated in the baja 1000 as the start of the marketing campaign. and they finished 3rd out of 8 in their class. so in that respect, it is nothing like racing a zr1 against a race car. because this truck actually IS a trophy truck.

man u have it all wrong lol. there is a point in the revs where the motor has the best balance of hp and torque. that’s when you want to shift, not at the redline. and when switched into off road mode, this truck uses those specific RPMs to shift. yes, you can manually shift an auto, but ford already tuned it for you, so you just have to focus on driving.
