What other buildings could be built on churchgrounds?
Church was built in 1846, and there’s a small building in the back. It has two chimneys on opposite ends and two doors on the front with three doors on the back. The building is probably 30 feet by 12 feet wide. What could that building have been built for? It seems too small for a parsonage.
It could have been a house.
If the chimneys are not associated with fire places they were part of a well system. I have a couple of Victorian homes with the chimneys still intact, they were for the wells.
