Ideas for inexpensive gifts to put in handprint totes (made by my 2 yr old) for mother’s day?

We have 3 grandma’s 2 great grandmas and 1 great grandma we made the totes for. They need something inside before I give them, but I would like to keep the cost down. Any ideas?

Maybe I am a cheapskate, but I would stuff each bag with pretty tissue paper and call it good! I am not a fan of filler because it encourages cheap slave labor in countries that are killing US with their industrial pollution and poisoned merchandise.

But you could do a theme for each one. Packets of flower seeds with small flowerpots maybe, or a bar of nice soap with a washcloth and hand towel, stationery with stamps, a coffee mug and a small package of coffee or tea bags.

Take your 2 Year Old to the "DOLLAR STORE" and ask him to choose the gifts personally. No matter what he picks, they will LOVE it, and he will be delighted (so will your purse).
